Welcome to the website of George Lund. A creating Folk Art with a colorist Naïve style of artwork. George has created some form of art since childhood. George began painting as a self taught specialsing in folk art, but later on realized that he needed to gain more skills and knowledge in art to develop more ideas and more of a unique folk Art style. Twenty years later he rekindled first interest in art and I started to paint in acrylic, oil, water colour and draw with pastels and charcoal. George enrolled on an Art and design course at City College Liverpool. This led to being accepted for a degree with Hon's at Bradford Community College. He studied various creative areas at the college including Folk Art, untilI specialising in fine art and printmaking. George has become involved in various Performance Art collaborations as the Funkadelic Chicken character, that supported various projects such as The Gesqoui project that was part of the Liverpool Biennial. |

Upcoming Guardian Photography Exhibition/Competition, August 2006. Lund has recently been interviewed and photographed in conjunction with his art on the subject of 'passion', significantly the passion of the artists and their creativity.
